Relay Control
Ignite Automation designs Relay Control modules for both low- and high-current switching applications. These units provide reliable galvanic isolation, versatile I/O mapping and plug-and-play compatibility with our microcontroller and PLC interfaces.
Overview
Relay Control boards use industrial-grade mechanical relays, providing the flexibility of dry-contact outputs and the assurance of visual activation indicators. Each board is engineered to minimise coil power draw and maximise switching life under inductive and resistive loads.
Key Features
- Up to 16 isolated relay outputs per module (expandable).
- Selectable coil voltage: 5 V, 12 V or 24 V DC.
- LED activity indication on every channel.
- Flyback diode protection for inductive loads.
- Interface options for TTL, RS-485 or Ethernet control.
Advantages
- Long mechanical life with field-replaceable relays.
- Excellent isolation between logic and load sides.
- Compact modular PCB design for panel integration.
- Cost-effective switching solution for OEM equipment.
